Power Of Suspected Terrorists Bombs Not Yet Confirmed

Jakarta, May 3 (ANTARA) - Police have not been able to confirm yet about the power of two active bombs discovered with two suspected terrorists arrested on Thursday night, a police spokesman said. "We are not yet able to confirm their power but we believe they could injure or even kill people especially when they explode near them," National Police Command`s Head of Public Relations Division Brigadier General Boy Rafli Amar said here on Friday. A police anti-terror Densus 88 squad arrested suspected terrorists JM alias Asep and Ovie while they were on the way from Jalan Sudirman to Bendungan Hilir in Central Jakarta at around 9.30 pm on Thursday. Boy said the two carried five pipe bombs ready for use when caught. "We are not able to confirm their possible network yet as we are still investigating the case," he said.
