Prachuap Khiri Khan’s deputy governor commits suicide

PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, Thailand, June 11 (TNA) - The Deputy Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province in the Upper Thai South, Suthipong Terdrattanapong, shot himself dead on early Tuesday afternoon at his house in Mueang district. An investigation team rushed to the scene and found Sutthipong died from shooting himself in the head with a 9mm pistol. His body was then taken to Prachuab Khiri Khan Hospital. The 57-year-old deputy governor reportedly asked his secretary to buy some food for his lunch and his neighbours later heard the gun shot and immediately notified the police. The reason why the deputy governor decided to commit suicide has not yet been available. (TNA)
