PREMIER ATTENDS OPENING OF ACADEMIC YEARS AT #33 SCHOOL

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg Tuesday participated in an opening ceremony of the academic years of 2015-2016 at the city’s #33 secondary school named after Moscow. Wishing all pupils and teachers big success in learning, the Premier pointed out that the government has approved a national program called “Right Mongolian children” with a purpose of developing every child. In frames of this program, sub-programs have been worked out for pre-school, primary and basic education, the Premier underlined, and added many works will be realized for pupils’ education. “Today, 539 thousand pupils study in 799 secondary schools around the country, and 64,300 of them enrolled the 1st grade in the academic years of 2015-2016. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science has established 144 E-labs for biology, mathematics, chemistry and physics, and 500 video lessons have been translated into Mongolian for learning of pupils. Works will be continued to create 200 internationally-accepted physics laboratories. Moreover, 25 thousand laptops will be delivered to teachers, and 11,340 personal computers will be given to pupils in the academic years the ‘Education for new century’ project,” the Premier said. Following the ceremony, the Premier legged the “Olympics” hall, chemistry-oriented 11th grade class and 1st grade class, meeting and greeting pupils. About 3,100 pupils currently study at the #33 school in 71 classes.
