Premier congratulates Thai counterpart on successful rescue operation

Manama, July 13 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has sent a cable of congratulations to his Thai counterpart, General Prayut Chan-ocha, on the successful operation to rescue 12 boys and their football coach from a flooded cave this week. HRH Premier extended deepest congratulations to the friendly Thai people and the families of the boys on the happy occasion. HRH the Prime Minister commended the tremendous efforts exerted by the Thai government, under the leadership of General Prayut Chan-ocha, to ensure the success of the rescue operation. Through the the rescue operation, the Thai government has set the example in strength and outstanding ability to overcome challenges, earning the respect and acclaim of countries and peoples all over the world, HRH Premier said. The Prime Minister commended the efforts exerted by the Thai rescue teams to ensure the safe return of the 12 children and their coach.
