Premier hails ties with Thailand

Manama, July 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Thai Ambassador to Bahrain Chayapan Bamrungphong who handed over to him an invitation from his counterpart Prayut Chan-o-cha to visit friendly Thailand. HRH Premier requested the ambassador to convey his greetings to his Thai counterpart, and sincere thanks to him for his kind invitation, as well as wishes of further progress and prosperity to Thailand and its people. HRH the Prime Minister lauded the steady progress of the Bahrain-Thailand relations, which, he said, embodies the solid ties between the two friendly countries in various fields. The advanced level of bilateral relations also reflects the shared interest of the two kingdoms in strengthening the pillars of fruitful cooperation between them, the Prime Minister said. The Thai ambassador extended deepest thanks and appreciation to HRH the Prime Minister for his efforts to develop bilateral cooperation, explaining that the Premier’s efforts have yielded many agreements and joint committees aiming to boost bilateral ties in all fields.
