Premier: One can save nature through feeling its beauty

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ "We can save the nature by feeling its beauty and getting proud of it, but not erecting fences all around". That was what the Prime Minister N.Altanhuyag said Friday at the ongoing National Forum on Special Protected Areas in the State House where the gathered were representatives and officials of special protected area administrations, governmental and non-governmental nature protection organizations. The Premier highlighted an importance of inheriting the nature with its original purity to next generations to teach them how to feel its beauty and be proud of it. Furthermore, he reminded some projects were done by his government last year that included setting five hiking routes to climb the Bogd Montain, installing some signs, dining tables, waste bins and restrooms, as well as furnishing a suitable platform for filming or taking pictures in the excursion areas. Mr Altanhuyag also announced a soon-to-come forest cleaning project by the Nature, Environment and Green Development Ministry, where old and fallen tree stumps will be harvested to be used as lumber, thus leaving young trees much needed growing space.
