Premier praises expatriate communities' role in Bahrain's development

Manama, July 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Thai Ambassador to Bahrain Chayapan Bamrungphong, the Philippines embassy Charge D’Affaires Maria Baz Cortes and Indian embassy Charge D’Affaires Meera Sisodia. HRH the Premier welcomed them lauding their role in boosting relations. He also got assured about the situation of their communities in Bahrain so as to ensure they enjoy all their rights according to national laws and international conventions. He commended the role of those communities in the kingdom’s development process, expressing satisfaction at growing relations between Bahrain and their countries. HRH the Prime Minister reiterated Bahrain’s keenness to boost those relations to serve common interests in light of the great international economic and trade potentials those countries have. The Thai, Philippine and Indian diplomats thanked Bahrain and the Bahraini government for the support given to their communities in Bahrain, praising Bahrain’s developed and flexible laws guaranteeing full rights for the expatriate workers.
