Premier thanked by Interior Minister

Manama, July 29 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa today received a cable of thanks from Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa. He paid tribute to HRH the Premier who visited the Interior Ministry headquarters and offered condolences on the death of two security affiliates in a terror blast in Sitra. On behalf of the Interior Ministry personnel, he thanked the Premier who prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the souls of the martyrs of duty in eternal peace and give their bereaved families fortitude, wishing the wounded quick recovery. Lt-Gen Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa said that the Premier’s visit and constant support represent a catalyst to continue efforts to maintain security and restore order with utmost determination. He hailed the efforts of the Government, chaired by HRH the Premier, to bolster the capabilities and readiness of the Interior Ministry’s affiliates to continue performing their duties under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
