Premier urges concerted efforts for Bahrain

Manama, Feb. 8 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa emphasised the need to deal with the current challenges resulting from the deteriorated situation in the Arab region within the framework of a unified Arab vision aimed at preserving security and stability. He was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, parliamentarians and senior officials. "We have to be more vigilant and aware of what is going around us," he said, urging caution in facing current challenges and more efforts to continue the development march. He lauded cooperation between the legislative and executive branches, stressing the need for more coordinated efforts to achieve people's aspiration for a decent life. "We have to work hand in hand for the sake of our country and its stability," he stressed, pointing out the need for a unified national will to press ahead with national growth and development despite all challenges. He also underlined the need to bolster cooperation between the executive and legislature to further invigorate Bahrain's economy and maintain the kingdom's leading status in various fields.
