Premier's support for press, media personnel appreciated

Manama, May 31 (BNA): Award winners of Khalifa bin Salman Press Award today extended thanks and appreciation to the HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for patronizing the event and his interest in promoting press and media personnel. In statements to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), the award winners pointed the award highlights HRH Premier's awareness of the importance of the press and media in uplifting the nation. They expressed delight in winning the award, which is an impetus for all press and media personnel to further contribute to the national development march. They commended the great effort made by the Information Affairs Ministry led by Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Rumaihi, which was reflected well on the success of the awards ceremony, wishing the information ministry more successes to come. The award winners are Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shaikh from Akhbar Al-Khaleej, Sadaq Al-Halwaji from Al-Wasat newspaper, Ali Al-Qemish from Al-Ayam newspaper and Abdulrahman Tulifat from Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
