Preparations underway for Thailand's Coronation Day celebrations

PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, THAILAND, April 25 (TNA) - Preparations have been on progress for Thailand's celebrations of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's Coronation Day anniversary on May 5, 2014. Governor of Prachub Khiri Khan Province Weera Sriwattanatrakul on Friday inspected the grounds of the Klai Kangwon Palace in Hua Hin, where main activities of the Coronation Day anniversary celebrations will be held, including a mass audience granted by the beloved Thai monarch. The Hua Hin Municipal Office is, in the meantime, improving the seaside district's scenery and putting up His Majesty's royal flag and portrait at celebration gates and every overpass, while also decorating lights at the Klai Kangwon Palace and along Phetkasem Road, where the palace is situated. Besides, a dozen of LED screens are being set up in Hua Hin to broadcast live the activities, held inside the palace's hall. (TNA)
