President attends gathering to celebrate Women’s Day

Tehran, April 20, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani attended a gathering to celebrate the National Women’s Day which coincides with the birth anniversary of the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Hadrat Fatemeh. The gathering is held to honor a number of elite women in the country who have accomplished brilliant achievements in economic and cultural areas. The President is to address the gathering after hearing remarks of a number of women attending the ceremony. Every year, Iran celebrates the birth anniversary of Hadrat Fatemeh as the national day to pay tribute to women.
