President Holds Mass Prayer For Smooth General Elections

Jakarta, March 11 (Antara) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) held a mass prayer for smooth and safe general elections that are scheduled to take place this year in Indonesia. "This morning, President SBY organized a mass prayer at Cikeas for safe and smooth general elections," the head of state tweeted on his Twitter account @SBYudhoyono, on Tuesday. Earlier, the president wrote on his Twitter account: "Indeed it`s true that there is no soft road to reach noble ideas and great objective." On Tuesday noon, Yudhoyono and his entourage were scheduled to leave for East Java for a working visit. Indonesia will hold legislative elections on April 9 and the presidential elections on July 9 this year.
