President Ilham Aliyev held a one-on-one meeting with President of Greece Karolos Papoulias

Baku, Azerbaijan, June 16 Trend: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Greece Karolos Papoulias have held a one-on-one meeting. During the meeting, the sides noted that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Greece had been developing successfully in political, economic and other fields. The parties said there were ample opportunities for further expansion of the relations. The sides stressed the importance of Azerbaijan-Greece cooperation within the European Union. The parties noted the significance of President Ilham Aliyev`s state visit to Greece in terms of further development of the bilateral ties.
