President of International Federation of Translators visits Azerbaijan University of Languages

Baku, April 1, AZERTAC President of the International Federation of Translators (IFT) Henry Liu has visited Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) to meet rector Samad Seyidov. During the meeting, Seyidov highlighted the history, international relations, the activities of the faculty of translation of the university, as well as its participation in experience exchange programs. The rector expressed confidence that cooperation between the university and International Federation of Translators would be fruitful. Lui hailed IFT`s cooperation with Azerbaijan University of Languages. He also spoke about the activities and priorities of IFT. He noted that Azerbaijan Young Translators Association became an observer member of IFT in October, 2012. The sides also discussed prospects for cooperation, mutual trainings, organization of workshops and exchange of experience.
