President Jokowi Leaves For Working Visit To Sulawesi

Jakarta, Nov 5 (Antara) - President Joko Widodo, better known as Jokowi, left for Makassar to conduct a two-day working visit to three provinces in Sulawesi from Wednesday to Thursday. The president and his entourage departed from Halim Perdanakusuma at 7.30 am on Wednesday for the working visit to the provinces of South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, and Southeast Sulawesi. After arriving in Makassar, the president will make his way to Sidrap to inspect a new irrigation, and to meet and have lunch with the farmers there. From Sidrap, President Jokowi will return to Makassar and on to West Sulawesi to inspect Cacao National Movement (Gernas Kakao) activity, and farming infrastructure. Later on Thursday, the head of state will fly to Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi to observe irrigation, maritime toll road plan, and to attend the 12th national congress of the Family of Gadjah Mada University Alumni (Kagama). The president is scheduled to return to Jakarta from Kendari on Thursday afternoon.
