President Meets New Zealand Prime Minster

BAGHDAD / NINA / President Fuad Masum appreciated New Zealand's support for Iraq in the war against the terrorist organization Daash. Masum, during a meeting with New Zealand's Prime Minister John Key, according to a presidential statement, expressed gratitude for the support provided by New Zealand to Iraq in the military and economic fields and provide relief to the displaced. He stressed the importance of developing economic and agricultural cooperation with New Zealand because of its potential and expertise in the field of agriculture and livestock, referring to the importance of relations between the two countries and the necessity of enhancing them in all fields for the interest of the peoples of the two friendly. For his part, the New Zealand Prime Minister reiterated his country's supportive position of Iraq, pointing to continued support for Iraq in its war against terrorism. / End
