PRESIDENT OF MYANMAR TO PAY STATE VISIT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Mr Thein Sein will pay a state visit to Mongolia this June 28-30. This visit--the very first one of a state level since the two countries established the diplomatic relations in 1956--will have a great importance in boosting the Mongolia-Myanmar relations, keeping a frequency of high level mutual visits, strengthening the legal environment for the bilateral ties. The two Presidents will run officials talks. Mr Thein Sein will receive Z.Enkhbold, the Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament), and Ch.Saikhanbileg, the Prime Minister. Within the official talks, the parties will exchange views on the bilateral relations and on developing the cooperation in mining, tourism, agriculture and culture, Mongolia will share with Myanmar its experience in democracy and in collaborating on regional and international arenas. In addition, the sides will sign bilateral relations documents.
