President Officially Starts New School Year In Iran

Tehran, Sept 23, IRNA – President Hassan Rohani here on Monday officially started the new school year in the country by ringing the bell in a high school downtown Tehran. Today, September 23, the first day of autumn in Iran, is beginning of the new school year across the country. The President rang the bell in Fatemeh Zahra High School to symbolically start the new school year prior to his trip to New York to attend the annual United Nations General Assembly. According to statistics, over 12 million students are studying at 105,000 schools across the country this year./end
