PRESIDENT RETURNS HOME

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj returned home Thursday after participating in the 4th Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Summit which ran May 20-21 in Shanghai, China. A joint statement issued by the end of the summit included some important clauses regarding Mongolia such as strengthening her nuclear weapon-free status, forwarding the position of landlocked developing countries and the Ulaanbaatar Dialogue initiative, by the Mongolian President, on Security in Northeast Asia. As we informed before, the President of Mongolia held tet-a-tet meetings with his counterparts of China and Russia in frames of the summit to share views on the bilateral relations and cooperation.
