President of Saudi Press Agency: We are sure Baku will host News Agencies World Congress in an excellent manner

Baku, March 3 AZERTAC President of the News Agencies World Congress, president of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah bin Fahd al-Hussein has expressed confidence the News Agencies World Congress would be excellently organized in Baku next year as he met Director General of Azerbaijan State Information Agency AZERTAC Aslan Aslanov. He said SPA, which hosted the 4th Congress, was ready to share its experience and support AZERTAC in preparation for the congress. “The way how AZERTAC organized the meeting of the News Agencies World Council (NACO) and the jubilee event shows that the 5th Congress will be excellently arranged.” “We were pleased to meet Azerbaijani President`s Assistant for Public and Political Affairs Ali Hasanov,” Mr Al-Hussein added. The SPA President said both agencies have the opportunities to improve the information and photo exchange. “This will contribute to spreading the news about Azerbaijan in the Middle East, as well as the information about Saudi Arabia`s socio-political, cultural fields in this region,” he added. Director General Aslanov said AZERTAC attached great importance to deepening the cooperation with SPA, which chairs the Congress. “The two agencies signed a document on partnership in the field of information,” Mr. Aslanov added. Saudi Arabian Ambassador Musaid bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Salim highlighted close cooperation between the two countries. The diplomat said Saudi Arabia was ready to cooperate with Azerbaijan in all fields, and praised the two agencies` partnership in bilateral and international organizations. They discussed the issues related to the invitation of CNN, BBC TV-channels, as well as Google, Yahoo!, MSN to the 5th News Agencies World Congress.
