President Starts Working Visit To Bali

Jakarta, June 13 (Antara) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono started his four-day working visit to Bali from June 13-16, 2013 on Thursday. The head of state and his entourage left Halim Perdanakusuma airport here at 11.20 am on Thursday and was scheduled to arrive at Ngurah Rai airport in Bali at around 2 pm local time. "President Yudhoyono starts his working visit to Bali for the Forum of East Asia and Latin American Countries (FEALAC), and then to meet with the chief editors of the media in Indonesia, with the National Awakening Party (PKB), and to attend cultural parade," Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi said. He said Indonesia this year hosted the cooperation Forum of East Asia and Latin American Countries. East Asia and Latin American countries contribute 30 percent to the world trade, and 24 percent of foreign direct investment in the world are in FEALAC. Silalahi said the head of state will also open the 35th Bali Cultural Week which is to be enlivened by four partner countries namely India, Timor Leste, Japan, and the United States.
