President Urges Acceleration Of Building Iran

Yazd, Feb 17, IRNA -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Saturday that Iran should be built using Iranian talents and expertise, noting that the building process should gain momentum. After inaugurating several industrial and development projects in Yazd province, he added that inspired by Iran, all world countries have now believed that if a nation decides to stand on its own feet and do things itself, it will succeed. ˈToday, we should increase the speed of the countryˈs construction because building Iran is the wish of late Imam Khomeini and the Supreme Leader,ˈ he noted. ˈToday Iranian experts are implementing the biggest projects in the shortest possible time,ˈ he said, stressing the need to rely on domestic talents and capabilities. Recalling the successful launch of living species to space by Iranian scientists, he said the act is only a small part of the Iranian youthˈs capabilities and talents. ˈConstructing Iran is our divine mission,ˈ Ahmadinejad said. Commenting on Yazd provinceˈs progress, he added that given its pious people and talents, it should be transformed into one of the major industrial poles of the country. Ahmadinejad earlier inaugurated several projects in various cities of the province including the worldˈs 3rd largest float glass factory in Ardakan. The plant, the third largest in the world after the US and China for the type of its products, is capable of producing pure glass with a diameter of 19 millimeters./end
