On December 24 President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev made a telephone call to President Ilham Aliyev. Dmitry Medvedev congratulated the Head of State on his 50th anniversary, wished him successes in his presidential activity. President Aliyev expressed his gratitude to Dmitry Medvedev for the congratulations and attention. The Presidents stressed successful development of the relations between Azerbaijan and Russia in various fields, noted importance of reciprocal visits and meetings to expand further bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
