Pressure of embargoes on TRNC to be eased with protocols, Turkish minister says

GIRNE (A.A) - Turkish Youth & Sports Minister Suat Kilic said on Friday that cooperation protocols that would be signed by Turkey and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) would ease pressure of unfair embargoes on Turkish Cypriot youths. "Youth Workshop" organized by youth and sports ministries of Turkey and TRNC began in Girne. TRNC President Dervis Eroglu, Prime Minister Irsen Kucuk, Turkish Sports Minister Suat Kilic, TRNC National Education, Youth and Sports Minister Kemal Durust and other officials attended the workshop. Delivering a speech in the opening of the workshop, Kilic said that with this workshop, they started a new process to establish a brand new and sound bridge between youths of Turkey and TRNC. Kilic said that cultural and historical ties would be improved more with this workshop. TRNC National Education, Youth and Sports Minister Kemal Durust said they attached a great importance to sound ties with Turkey.
