Prime Minister Visits Qatar Financial Center

Doha, July 10 (QNA) - HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani paid a visit to Qatar Financial Center (QFC) on Tuesday morning.
During the visit, HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister listened to a detailed explanation by senior officials at the Center about the strategy adopted and the achievements accomplished.
The officials also briefed HE the Prime Minister about the Center's future plans, Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre and Qatar Finance and Business Academy.
The visit of HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister included the Commercial Section of the Center, Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre, which is an independent court affiliated with the Center, and Qatar Finance and Business Academy which is QFC educational arm.
HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani stressed the importance of the pivotal role of Qatar Financial Center as one of the "most important pillars of strengthening the national economy", and the significance of its role in creating a "successful and distinct global financial business environment in the State of Qatar and the region".
HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister praised the Center's contribution to the efforts of diversifying the Qatari economy, and to supporting the State's march towards achieving the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister was accompanied during the visit by HE Minister of Finance Ali Shareef Al Emadi and senior officials at Qatar Financial Center. (QNA)
