Princess Sabeeka congratulates Bahrain's first female fighter jet pilot

Manama, July 12 (BNA): Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), has sent a congratulatory cable to Pilot Officer, Shaikha Aisha bint Rashid Al Khalifa, on the success of her inaugural flight, piloting a Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF)’s fighter jet. HRH Princess Sabeeka expressed sincere congratulations to Shaikha Aisha on the success of her inaugural flight as Bahrain’s first female fighter pilot, describing it as a high-level accomplishment that adds to Bahraini women’s achievements. HRH Princess Sabeeka reiterated her deep pride in the Bahraini women’s patriotic achievements, noting that Shaikha Aisha’s distinguished performance and outstanding skills embody the Bahraini women’s dedication in the service of the homeland, and keenness to defend it. The SCW president lauded Shaikha Aisha’s choice of such an importan field, which, she said, reflects here courage and determination to serve the nation through the Bahrain Defence Force, a platform that provides its affiliates with the opportunity to protect and defend the country. HRH Princess Sabeeka wished Shaikha Aisha every success in serving the homeland.
