Princess Sirindhorn joins rehearsal of royal funeral procession

BANGKOK, Oct 15 (TNA) - Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has joined the rehearsal of the royal funeral procession for His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Aduladej today. Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha and cabinet ministers also attended the second rehearsal before the actual Royal Cremation takes place on October 26. A large crowd of people gathered along the footpaths of Rajdamnoen Nai Avenue before dawn to catch a glimpse of the magnificent royal procession, which started at 8.00 a.m. Authorities have allowed the people to view the procession at nine points near Sanam Luang Ceremonial Ground while 13 roads have been closed since 10.00 p.m. Saturday until midnight Sunday. The third and final rehearsal will be held on Oct 21. (TNA)
