Prosecutor demands death sentence for ousted Egyptian leader Mubarak

CAIRO (A.A) - Prosecutor demanded death sentence for ousted Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak, former interior minister Habib el-Adly, and Mubarak's two sons Gamal and Alaa during the trial on Thursday. Reading the indictment prepared by chief prosecutor's office, judge Mustafa Suleiman demanded Mubarak, his sons, and el-Adly be sentenced to hang on charges of ordering security forces to open fire on civilians during the protests. Court adjourned the hearing until January 9. (Reporting by Mehmet Kemal Firik)
