PTT, Bangchak invite people to make paper flowers for royal cremation

BANGKOK, May 27 (TNA) - PTT Group and Bangchak Corporation Plc. invite people to make paper flowers for the royal cremation of His Majesty late King Bhumibol Adulyadej this October. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, PTT senior executive vice president for the oil business unit, said that facilities were prepared for people to make paper flowers for the purpose at 300 PTT gas stations nationwide. The flowers would then be delivered to provincial organizations where paper flowers would be laid, he said. People could do the activity at participating PTT stations from June 1 to 30. The list of the participating stations is available at www.pttplc.com and PTT’s contact center at 1365. Somporn Vongvuthipornchai, chief executive officer of PTT Exploration and Production Plc, said general people could join his staff to make paper flowers at the Energy Complex on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road in Bangkok. Staff of his company in Bangkok, other provinces and in the Gulf of Thailand will make 10,000 paper flowers. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, chief executive officer of Bangchak Corporation, said people could also the activity at its headquarters, M-Tower Building, on Sukhumvit Road from May 23 to June 9. The company planned to make 9,999 paper flowers that would be delivered to the Phra Khanong district office for the royal cremation on Oct 26, he said. (TNA)
