Public Security Chief meets Bangladeshi ambassador

Manama, Aug.12 (BNA): Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan received on Sunday Bangladeshi Ambassador to Bahrain, K M Mominur Rahman. They reviewed bilateral relations and topics of common interests. They also discussed the case of the Imam of a mosque in Muharraq who was murdered and the efforts of the Interior Ministry that led to the arrest of the killer to bring him to justice, in addition to cooperation with concerned authorities to tackle the issue of illegal workers who violate the residency rules. The meeting was also attended by Assistant Undersecretary of Ports, Search and Follow Up and the Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science.
