Publication competition on disabled socialization announced

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The project to support socialization of the disabled Saturday announced a website, television or radio, and newspaper publication competition. The deadline of submission of publication (article or broadcast) is January 15. The nominee publication has to tell about tendency to community-based rehabilitation for all the different groups of persons with disabilities. The publication can be in any form of journalism such as interview, reportage or portrayal. Community-based rehabilitation project is implemented under a funding of the European Union and Italian Association "Amici di Raoul Follereau" (AIFO), a grassroots organization with groups and regional coordination covering whole of Italy. At the same time, AIFO is an international non-governmental organization active mainly in two areas - fight against leprosy integrated in primary health care services; Community-based rehabilitation programs open to all the different groups of persons with disabilities including persons with disabilities due to leprosy and persons with mental illness.
