Putin is confident in successful development of military-technical cooperation with Kyrgyzstan

BISHKEK, March 28. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is confident in the further development of military-technical cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. "We established a very close, ally cooperation between the defense agencies, and I am confident that this cooperation will continue both in the multilateral format in the CSTO and bilaterally," he said at Russian-Kyrgyz negotiations with Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov. "It will also concern deliveries of military equipment and arms," Putin specified. The Russian state leader noted a positive trend in the growth of trade turnover of the two countries. Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union had good results, he said. The Russian president also noted the positive development of educational and social contacts. "We agree with your proposal to declare the next year the Year of Russian-Kyrgyz Cooperation and we will continue to pay much attention to it," Putin stressed, addressing the Kyrgyz leader.
