Putin says Russia ready to help Armenia resolve socio-economic problems

MOSCOW, September 21. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated his Armenian counterpart on the republic’s Independence Day, the Kremlin press service said on Monday. In his message to President Serzh Sargsyan, Putin "noted successful and all-round development of Russian-Armenian relations and praised Armenian partners’ determination to further strengthen mutually-beneficial cooperation" both in a bilateral format and within multilateral organisations, including the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Kremlin said. "Putin confirmed the Russian side’s readiness to continue helping Armenia resolve current socio-economic issues and expressed confidence that the two countries will further expand the whole complex of allied ties and constructive cooperation in regional affairs," the Kremlin added.
