Qatar’s Advisory Council 43rd Session Adjourned

Doha, July 06 (QNA) - The Advisory Council held its weekly regular meeting of its 34th session under HE the Council's Speaker Mohamed bin Mubarak Al-Khulaifi. At the outset of the meeting the Council's Secretary-General HE Fahad bin Mubarak Al-Khayareen read out the agenda which has been approved. The Council endorsed the minutes of its previous meeting. The Council then discussed the following reports: - A report by the Services and Public Utilities Committee on the general discussion request on the cost of health insurance. - A complementary report by the Internal and External Affairs Committee on a draft law regulating the entry, exit and residence of expatriates. The Council decided to refer its recommendations thereon to the Cabinet. The Council's Secretary-General then read out Emiri Decree No. 35 of 2015 adjourning the 34th regular session of the Advisory Council as of Sunday, 25th of Ramadan 1436 AH, corresponding to 12 July 2015. Later the Advisory Council Secretary-General gave a speech on the occasion in which he expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for his incessant and unlimited support to the Council and for the fruitful and constructive cooperation in all the achievements the Council has accomplished.(QNA)
