Qatar’s Advisory Council Holds Regular Weekly Meeting

Doha, January 26 (QNA) - The Advisory Council held its weekly regular meeting of its 43rd Ordinary Session under HE the Advisory Council Speaker Mohamed bin Mubarak Al-Khulaifi. At the outset of the meeting HE the Advisory Council Secretary-General read out the agenda which has been approved. The Council also endorsed the previous session's minutes. Afterwards, the council discussed a report by the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee on draft law No.14 of 2014 to amend some provisions of law No.7 of 2012 regarding educational copouns. The Council also discussed the Services and Public Utilities Committee's report concerning draft law No. 19 of 2014 to amend some provisions of law no. 22 of 1988 on the administrative borders of Shahaniya city. The Advisory Council agreed to refer its recommendations on the abovementioned draft laws to the cabinet. (QNA)
