Qatar’s Education Minister Inspects SEC's Organs

Doha, October 13 (QNA) - HE Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Wahed Al-Hammadi, the Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council (SEC) has paid an inspection visit to a number of organs affiliated to the SEC. He expressed satisfaction over the improvement made at the attestation and equivalency unit and the enabling of the staff to issue documents electronically without need to transfer reviewers to other departments Al-Hammadi considered that as a good start in providing more electronic services which the SEC intends to circulate within the centres that serve the public in all parts of the country. HE the minister visited the Vocational Guidance Office, the Student Assessment Office and the Human Resources Unit , where he stressed the need to continue to activate the electronic services both in internal dealings among SEC's staff or in foreign service. He also visited Maymouna Primary Independent School for Girls and expressed satisfaction over the performance of the students wishing them a successful academic year.(QNA)
