Qatar’s Minister of Culture Receives Message from French Counterpart

Doha , January 05 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari today received a written message from French Minister of Culture and Communication Fleur Pellerin containing a formal invitation to him to visit Paris. The message was delivered by Ambassador of France to Qatar Eric Chevallier during a meeting with Dr. Al Kuwari today. The invitation includes a call on Dr. Al Kuwari for further discussion on consolidating cultural relations between the two countries and an invitation to attend the first meeting of the joint cultural committee between the two countries enshrined in the cultural cooperation agreement . An agreement, signed between the State of Qatar and France in 2013, stipulates the need for the exchange of experiences in the areas of heritage, visual arts, books, folklore and other cultural affairs.(QNA)
