Qatar’s Minister of Youth Appoints New Board for QCVA

Doha, April 20 (QNA) - HE the Minister of Youth and Sports Salah bin Ghanim bin Nassir Al-Ali issued a decision appointing a new board for the Qatar Center for Voluntary Activities. The new board consists of an elite of outstanding youths to succeed the former management of the Centre which made a lot of efforts in the service of center and its objectives. The decision aims to enable young people to assume positions of leadership in the voluntary work and to highlight their active role in building the community. The most important functions and priorities of new board will be maintaining the gains and accomplishments achieved by the center during the previous period, making accurate assessment of the previous phase in order to address deficiencies and avoid the negatives and developing a future vision of voluntary action plans and strategies. The new board is chaired by Aisha Jassim Al-Kuwari, and its membership includes Tariq Abdulaziz Al-Sada, Khalid Walid Al-Hammadi, Aisha Nasser Al-Nasr, Eng. Mohamed Abdulfattah Al-Najjar, Nasser Malallah Al-Maliki and Mohamed Habes Mohamed Al-Howail. (QNA)
