Qatar Advisory Council Holds Weekly Meeting

Doha, April 14 (QNA) - The Advisory Council held Monday its ordinary weekly meeting of its 42nd regular session under the chairmanship of HE Mohammed bin Mubarak Al-Khulaifi. At the outset of the meeting, HE the Advisory Council's Secretary-General Fahd bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read the agenda, which was then agreed upon. The Advisory Council endorsed the minutes of its previous session. The Council reviewed during the session a draft law on passing a Litigation Act for family matters and decided to refer it to the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee to study it and submit report thereon to the Council The Council also reviewed the following draft laws: - A draft law on exempting the share of the non-Qatari investors in the profits of some companies and investment funds from income tax. - A draft law amending some provisions of Law No. (25) for the year 2005 concerning commercial registration. The Council then decided to refer them to the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee to study them and submit report thereon to the Council. (QNA)
