Qatar and South Africa Sign Double Taxation Agreement

Pretoria, March 06 (QNA) - The State of Qatar and the Republic of South Africa signed Friday an agreement to avoid double taxation and prevent fiscal evasion. HE Minister of Finance Ali Sherif Al Emmadi signed the agreement on behalf of the Qatari government. South Africa's Minister of Finance Nhlanhla Nene signed the agreement on his country's behalf. HE Qatar's Ambassador to South Africa Salem Abdullah Al Jaber attended the signing the ceremony, along with the delegation accompanying HE the Minister of Finance and officials from the South African Ministry of Finance. A statement from the Qatari Ministry of Finance released today said that the agreement aims to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade and investment fields. (QNA)
