Qatar and WIPO Discuss Bilateral Ties

Geneva , September 08 (QNA) - HE the Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Henzab met here today with Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Dr.Francis Gurry. Their talks during the meeting focused on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Qatar and WIPO in relevant areas, especially the recent cooperation agreement signed between the Ministry of Economy and Commerce and the WIPO on the development of industrial and commercial services and in the area of registration of intellectual property rights in order to support economic and industrial development in Qatar .(QNA)
