Qatar Attends Ministerial Meeting of Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization

Rabat, May 31 (QNA) - Qatar participated in the ministerial meeting of the General Assembly of the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization, which was held today in Rabat in the Kingdom of Morocco. Qatar's delegation was headed by HE Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohammed Bin Saleh Al Sada.   The meeting discussed a number of topics on the agenda including the report of the executive council on its activities between the two sessions of the General Assembly (23rd -24th) and the draft strategy for the organization and a road map for 2017-2020.   The participants reviewed the reports presented to the Assembly, including the report of the legal auditor of accounts and report of the financial and administrative oversight body for 2014-2015, and the internal auditor report on the work of the organization for 2014-2015.   The meeting elected members of the executive council for the 24th and 25th sessions of the General Assembly, and reviewed the organization's budget for 2016, and the draft budget and program of work for 2017-2018.   This session discussed the agenda of the Organization and adopted the report and recommendations of the preparatory committee as well as the decisions emanating from the session.
