Qatar Charity Delivers Aid to Sudan Flood Victims

Doha, August 04 (QNA) - Qatar Charity (QC) and office of Islamic Dawah Organization have carried out an aid project benefitting more than 23,000 people affected by floods in Nahr al-Neel state, Sudan. Qatar Charity in coordination with Sudan's Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC), and government of Nahr al-Neel state delivered food and non-food aid to the people affected by floods in the presence of local officials, said QC in a statement today. Ibrahim Zainal, QC' assistant executive director of international development said that the distribution of aid items to Sudan by QC stems from its fraternal and humanitarian initiatives. Zainal stressed that Qatar Charity and Islamic Dawa Organization work to continue their development and relief efforts in Sudan in general and in Nahr al-Neel state in particular.(QNA)
