Qatar Condemns Armed Attack on Dhaka Diplomatic Area

Doha, July 02 (QNA) - The State of Qatar condemned Friday the shooting and hostage holding incident which took place in the Diplomatic area in Bangladesh Capital Dhaka and led to the killing and injuries to a number of people. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement expressing Qatar's condemnation to the criminal act, which contradicted all human and ethical values. The statement also reiterated Qatar's firm stance which rejects violence and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, whatever its motives and causes. Qatar also called on the international community to work harder together to combat violence and terrorism. Finally, the statement conveyed Qatar's condolences to the government and people of Bangladesh and wished the injured a speedy recovery. (QNA)
