Qatar Condemns Execution of Second Japanese Hostage

Doha, February 01 (QNA) - The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the execution of the second Japanese hostage Kenji Goto describing it as an act of terrorism. In a statement issued today, the Foreign Ministry denounced this act and announced the solidarity of the State of Qatar with the government and people of Japan in condemning this criminal act. The statement reiterated Qatar's firm position rejecting violence in all its forms and manifestation whatever its source and motivation, stressing that such a crime violates all ethical and humanitarian principles and values. The statement expressed condolences and sympathy of the State of Qatar to the friendly government of Japan and the families of the victims who succumbed due to this heinous crime.(QNA)
