Qatar to Continue Working on Elevating Values of Justice, Official Says

Vienna, May 22 (QNA) - The State of Qatar will continue to give maximum effort to help the international community fight organized crime and elevate the values of justice, equality and the rule of law. The statement was made Friday by Manager of Department of Legal Affairs at Qatar's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmad Hassan Al-Hamadi in the 24th session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ). He expressed his delight that all governmental and non- governmental authorities expressed their unconditional support to the Doha Declaration which lays out a roadmap for the next five years. He noted that the declaration places the framework and steps for governments to implement on national, regional and international levels to prevent crime and achieve criminal justice. He stressed that the State of Qatar encourages member countries to support the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime to improve its performance and objectives. (QNA)
