Qatar Deputy PM Meets Sudanese Figures

Doha, April 08 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud met separately here on Tuesday with Amin Hassan Omer, head of Darfur peace follow up office, and al-Sadiq al-Mahdi, leader of Sudan's National Umma Party (NUP). During the two separate meetings, they discussed developments of the peace process in Darfur and efforts to support it on the basis of Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD). They also reviewed political developments in Sudan in light of the ongoing preparations to hold the national dialogue conference. (QNA)
