Qatar Embassy in Pakistan Celebrates National Day

Islamabad, December 18 (QNA) - Qatar's Ambassador to Pakistan HE Sayar bin Abdulrahman Almauda held today a reception on the occasion of the anniversary of Qatar National Day. The ceremony was attended by Pakistani Minister of Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahi Khaqan Abbasi,along with a number of ministers and members of the National Assembly and the Senate, a number of directors of departments of the Foreign Ministry , and senior statesmen and society, and Arab and foreign ambassadors and the deans of the diplomatic corps and foreign accredited to Pakistan. The ceremony was also attended by a gathering of Pakistani citizens who represent the elite businessmen, media professionals, journalists, women's and other community groups, who extended congratulations to the leadership, the government and people of Qatar and thier wishes of continued progress and prosperity under its wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The ceremony included a number of cultural and media programs showcasing Qatar's heritage including social, cultural life and achievements. (QNA)
