Qatar Financial Markets Authority Marks National Sports Day

Doha, February 09 (QNA) - Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) took part in the events organized by Qatar Central Bank (QCB) in celebration of National Sports Day. The authority's participation is part of its social responsibility to spread sports culture and raise community awareness of the importance of exercising sport, physical activity, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This event promotes sports activity, helps to consolidate the community's participation and culture among all classes and segments of the society, in addition to being one of the factors that alleviate life hardships and work burden, which eventually reflects positively on the quality of work and increases employee productivity. "QFMA's participation in this day reinforces the social interaction and sports culture, which would prepare a fit generation both physically and psychologically, and would contribute in building healthy society capable," of participating in the country's march of renaissance and comprehensive development, QFMA Chief Executive Officer Nasser Ahmed Al Shaibi said.
